Robert Allan House, named after the late Robert Allan Hendry who founded Avondale Care Scotland over 25 years ago, comprises of an 8 bed unit and two 12 bed units providing specialist care for Younger Adults 18 – 65 years old with Complex Needs. The Units are self-contained and consists of the following:

Spacious bedrooms complete with wet room style en-suite with shower. All bedrooms have an electric bed, Wi-Fi, pressure relieving air mattress, t.v. point, phone point, large windows and are decorated to a high standard. Tracking Hoists are available in some rooms and can be installed in others if required.

5 of the bedrooms have small individual patio areas off the bedroom providing excellent personal outside space. All bedrooms have access to a mature well laid out garden space.

There are two Lounge/Dining areas in each unit with small servery areas equipped with Kettle, Toaster, Microwave and Fridge.

The Robert Allan Unit is situated at Benore Care Centre attached to Lister House and has its own dedicated Manager.

Benore Care Centre is situated on Lochleven Road in Lochore. Lochgelly Railway Station is 5 minutes away and located on the No. 19 Bus Route which passes Benore Care Centre every 15 minutes. If travelling by Car, we are 5 minutes from the M90 Edinburgh to Perth Motorway exiting at Junction 5 - signposted Glenrothes/Crook of Devon. Head for Glenrothes and then Ballingry.
